Privacy Policy
At isat.college, we believe in privacy by design. We do not track you, we do not sell your data, and we collect the absolute minimum information necessary to operate the service.
1. Information We Collect
Public Profile Data: The core function of isat.college is to host public student portfolios. Any information you submit via Pull Request to the registry repository (including your name, bio, links, and project details) is, by definition, public information intended for publication.
Connection Logs: Like all web servers, Cloudflare (our hosting provider) may collect basic connection logs (IP address, user agent) for security and abuse prevention purposes. We do not retain or analyze these logs for marketing.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To render your public portfolio page.
- To maintain the security and stability of the platform.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate isat.college:
- GitHub: Used for authentication and data storage. When you submit a profile, you are interacting directly with GitHub. Please refer to GitHub's Privacy Statement.
- Cloudflare: Used for DNS, CDN, and hosting. Please refer to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
4. Cookies and Tracking
isat.college does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics scripts on student portfolio pages. We do not track visitor behavior.
5. Data Retention and Removal
Since your data is hosted in a public GitHub repository, you have full control over it. To remove your data, simply submit a Pull Request to delete your JSON file from the registry. Once merged, your data will be removed from our live site immediately (subject to CDN caching).
Please note that due to the nature of Git version control, historical versions of your data may remain in the repository's commit history on GitHub.
6. Contact Us
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please open an issue on our GitHub repository.
